Born and raised on O'ahu, Meagan's wanderlust intertwined her college years with extended stints in Boston, New Zealand, Ireland, Kaua'i, and Chicago. She earned a B.S. in environmental science, and began a career in energy efficiency, believing it was her dream to help save the planet by reducing carbon emissions and slowing global warming. She soon realized that she felt more impact and fulfillment sharing stories, and bringing happiness to people in small, meaningful doses through photography, a medium she studied and fell in love with during high school and college.
Meagan's photographic style focuses on storytelling; capturing moments in a beautiful, authentic way. Since she began shooting full-time in 2013, Meagan has contributed to a variety of print publications, writing and photographing travel pieces ranging from the art scene in Paris to small town Hanapepe, Kaua'i. She loves documenting adventurous elopements, growing families, and delicate newborns in her signature style. Meagan believes every person and place has a story to tell, and she loves sharing these stories through her lens.
