PATRICK MIZUMOTO
I primarily work as an oil painter, focusing on figurative and landscape work. My work features emotive human figures in abstract, surreal and suggestive settings. I am self taught and have also studied at various academies including the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, where I was mentored under artist Sergio Sanchez. I’ve been fortunate to have been included in shows notably in LA and Hawaii. I was included twice in the prestigious “Commitment to Excellence” annual group show put on by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce through the Honolulu Museum of Art. I have shown my work at the Tom Of Finland Foundation and have had featured shows in Los Angeles at The Hive Gallery(2011) and Tag Gallery(2020).
