Gotaro Oshitari is a believer that music transcends language; where words fail, music speaks. His love for music started at a young age when his mother enrolled him in classical piano lessons and from there, his musical interests shifted to reggae and soul music. After graduating high school in 2006, he was introduced to the local music scene in Hawaii and began his career as a full-time performing musician. Throughout the years, he has been blessed to share the power of music traveling the world and performing at many prestigious venues and music festivals with Hawaii’s best entertainers. Currently, Gotaro is a freelance musician/graphic designer and the music studio director alongside Nicholas Kaleikini and Osna Ronquillo. Few of his production credits include music from The Bougies, Rebel Souljahz, Kaipo Kapua, and Rootikal Riddim. You can catch him playing live with local musicians such as Kimié Miner and Irie Love or DJ’ing at Hawaii’s top venues.
