Hadley Nunes’ work includes drawing, painting, performance, and curation. She exhibits internationally and is part of The Louis-Dreyfus Family Collection in Katonah, New York. Hadley has participated in numerous residencies for both performance and visual art in the United States, France, Japan, and India.
In 2014, Hadley was the Director and Curator of an international residency project called PRESENT Project that facilitated the creation of new works of art by world-renowned artists; lectures and open studios for the public; and educational programming that included scholarships for half of the participants.
She has exhibited at the Honolulu Museum of Art, the Honolulu Museum of Art School, I‘olani Palace, The New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture, and the Old American Can Factory in Brooklyn, New York among others. Some of the residencies she participated in include: The Virginia Center for Creative Arts, The Vermont Studio Center, The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, and Watermill Center.
